Students in Year 2 have been learning how authors write information reports, in particular the structure. Our learners know that in order to improve their writing, they have access to the Learning Wall in their classroom. These walls have samples of students work, showing how to 'Bump Up' their writing. Make sure you ask your student to show you the wall at our next 'Show and Shine.'

This week our students participated in a practice lockdown. We are mandated by the department to practice these twice a year. A lockdown can happen for many reasons including weather events. If you happen to be in the school and the music 'Waltzing Matilda' plays, please enter the nearest building and stay there until the all clear is given. 

Our students performed this drill very well.
