Under 8's Day
Under 8's day was a wonderful celebration of being Under 8! Thank you to everyone who came and joined in the wonderful activities.

It's been a busy few weeks in our Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 classes. Our Prep's have been developing their oral language skills by orally retelling stories including Farmer John's Tractor. In Year 1, our students have also been focusing on retelling a story and the need for stories to be sequenced in a particular order for them to make sense. Students are adding detail to their writing to paint a better picture for their readers. Finally our Year 2 students have been investigating the different ways authors describe characters and the language of preference. 

Coming up, the Year 2's will be visiting John Goss Reserve. This is always a great morning with lots of investigation of push and pull forces.

2025 Prep Interviews
Mel and I have started our interviews for our newest Craigslea students. If you know of a student who is ready to start prep in 2025, please let them know that enrolments are open for next year. Come and see our friendly staff in our beatutiful new office space and grab an enrolment form. 

ICAS 2024
ICAS is an online academic competition that gives students the opportunity to challenge their higher order thinking and problem-solving skills in English, Mathematics, Science and Digital Technologies. We will be conducting ICAS at Craigslea in 2024. An remail for registration has been emailed out to parents.
