AST Kindness Scavenger Hunt
We embarked on a heartwarming adventure yesterday with the kindness scavenger hunt and a delightful walk to school from the park! Our community came together to spread positivity and make a difference, one act of kindness at a time. Thank you to those who joined us in this joyous journey as we discovered the magic of simple gestures and connecting with our neighbours. Together we created a ripple effect of kindness that brightens not only our day but the entire community!

Year 5 Camp
Camp Currimundi, what a wonderful experience for our Year 5 students.
H
ere are just a few recaps first hand from our students.

This year we went to Camp Currimundi. It was an incredible experience that taught us many lessons and new skills such as building catapults, working in teams, being organised and creating lifelong friendships and memories. Some of the fun, thrilling activities we did include catapulting, body boarding, caving and archery which all taught us new abilities. For example, how to overcome our fears and nock an arrow. In conclusion, camp was a fun and educational experience that taught us valuable life lessons and skills. - Jasmine and Sharon.

At camp carrumundi some of the favourite activities were caving where we got to crawl through really tight spaces with no lights whatsoever with specific routes we had to take. We went boogie boarding where we got to ride massive waves which was fun but we got dumped a few times which hurt but we got back up and went again and finally archery where we got to use bows and had to aim at the targets and gain points for our team to be declared the overall winner. These are just some of the activities we got to do at the Crazy Cool Camp Carrumundi. - Jack

At camp we started off having lunch when we got there.  Then we had a safety talk.  After that we got to our cabins.  On the first day, our group did body boarding.  While we were doing that a storm came so we had to finish an hour and 15 minutes early.  We then went back to our cabins and had a room inspection.  If your room was clean you would get lollies for your cabin.  Day 2 we did games in the sea at Dickys Beach then we did Alpine Team Rescue, pool games then catapulting.  Finally on day 3 we did the best things which were archery and caving.  We had a great time on camp. - Bronte and Grace

We had such a fun and amazing experience.  The activities were so fun, but our top 4 was caving, archery, body boarding and team challenges.  The activities were Alpine Team Rescue, pool games and more!  As for the extras, every morning at 6:00am, we would go to the beach and have a beach walk.  We found a bunch of shells as well.  Overall, it was a worthwhile experience and so fun to have with our friends in the cabins. - Sariah and Abigail
