OSHC Educator’s Day was on Wednesday. Thank you to the families that took time to write little notes of appreciation to our OSHC carers. We really appreciate all the hard work they do to provide safe, fun and enjoyable care for our children.
P&C have purchased some new play equipment for OSHC – the educators and children have had a wonderful time exploring and playing with their new resources.

Fundraising Opportunities

The ‘over the counter’ ordering fee will increase from $1 to $2 for first and second break orders. We strongly encourage you to consider using Munch Monitors to order your child’s tuckshop. Did you know you can order it weeks in advance?? If you could please try to get orders in well before 9am – this really helps our very busy tuckshop staff get the food ready for first break.
There is now gluten free pasta bolognaise and sugar free Zooper Doopers at tuckshop.

In the coming weeks the sustainability team will be assisting the student council in planting out a new garden at the end of the year four block. We received a Woolworths Junior Landcare grant to make this possible. It would be great to have a few parent helpers to assist the children in putting this spectacular new garden together. Stay tuned for more information.
A few people have been asking about the recycling area outside the greenhouse. This will definitely be returning, in the meantime there will be a few new procedures put in place while the greenhouse is still partially furnished. Please follow along on the Sustainability Facebook page to keep up to date.
We will be starting a ‘Friday Gardening Club’ 8:20am at the Greenhouse every Friday for term 3. This club will help look after the garden and care for our school environment. Parents and carers are very welcome to attend with their children. There are lots of activities to do before school in our beautiful outdoor space from watering and weeding to counting the bees and blooms.

A flyer has come home with your child regarding the upcoming Father’s and Fella’s Day stall.
We will need volunteers to help setup and run the stall – please click on the link if you can help out org/3M8X3
P&C will also be organising some gluten free goodies and a coffee cart for some free treats that Wednesday morning. Come and say hi – it will be located just near the school hall.

You can purchase individual tickets or book an entire table (8 per table).
Once in checkout you can ‘buy more tickets’ and then select ‘food orders’ to order food from Casa Cibo (condensed menu). You can order food now or just order your tickets and come back at a later date to order your food.
We are looking for a couple of volunteers – some to help organise the event and some to help out on the night. Please click the link if you can help org/XLA87
