Well done to our Year 1 Bear Dancers and Mrs Doyle. They put on a wonderful performance at our Junior Assembly.

Northside Regional Junior Strings Workshop

Last week, eight of our Craigslea strings students attended the Northside Regional Junior Strings Workshop, held at Windsor State School.  During two days of intensive rehearsals, they worked with several teachers and many second-year strings students from different northside schools, playing in an orchestra of approximately one hundred and twenty-five students!  They also worked in a massed choir and produced a concert performance attended by parents at the conclusion of the second day. Pictured are Olivia (cello), Christopher (violin), Ella (viola), Emily (violin), Georgia (viola), Felix (viola), Zoe (violin) and Arwen (cello) – all in Year Four - under one of the beautiful big trees at the heritage listed venue, enjoying a play break.

All parents of Craigslea second-year strings students are reminded that their children will be joining the Craigslea Senior String Orchestra permanently as of Week One of Term Three:  every Tuesday morning at 8.00am in the Music Room.
