PBL & Social-Emotional Learning
It is important for all children to be safe whilst at school, including while learning in the classroom.
We have been revising the importance of being in our expected place, completing our expected task at the expected task.
At Craigslea SS we:
- know why it is important to be in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing.
- know where to be during learning time so everyone is safe.
- get adult help if we need it.
- follow adult instructions and move to the expected place when directed.
Active School Travel
Walking Wheeling Wednesday’s
Wednesdays at Craigslea, are Walking Wheeling Wednesdays! There is one last Walking Wheeling Wednesday for Term 2, so we are making it a special one!
As it is also senior sports day, on Wednesday 21 June, all students P-6 can earn a point for their sports house to go towards the points at senior sports day. Actively travel to school on Wednesday, 21 June, wear your sports house shirt, enter through either the Kittabilla Street gate and see Miss Bec or the Hamilton Road gate and see Ms Marhinin and get a point for your sports house! Super easy to help your team. How will you actively travel?
Wednesday is also the last chance for classes to win the Golden Boot Trophy for June. The class with the highest percentage of active travellers who come to school by bike will win the trophy for June. Who will it be? 6B are currently in the lead, 3S are not far behind, Wednesday is the decider!
Check out how your class is going with actively traveling to school:
