ANZAC Day

Last week we held our commemorative service for ANZAC Day. Our students once again demonstrated their understanding of the importance of this occasion. A number of teachers and community members commented on the students’ respectful behaviour. We are proud of the way they conducted themselves. I would like to thank Mrs Pauline Stockhill for her organisation of the ANZAC ceremony. Thank you also to the students from Craigslea State High School who performed the Haka and sang the NZ National Anthem and Patrick for playing the Last Post.

Outdoor Learning space

You will have noticed that the Year 1 outdoor learning space is progressing well. Completion of this project is expected to be in mid-June. As we attempt to minimise congestion around this area, can I please ask that all year 1 students wait in the Year 1 eating area before school.

P&C Disco

We are excited for our school disco on Friday this week. Thank you to our P&C for organising this event, our parents for supporting their students to attend and our fabulous teachers who are volunteering their time to supervise at the disco.
