Prep |
What an amazing year we have had in Prep. We have learnt about letter sound relationships, word recognition, narrative, and persuasive writing. In Maths we learned about ways to represent numbers to 20, time, shapes, and measurement. Also has a lot of exploring different scientific concepts, and special places and changing and growing. We are enjoying learning about what Year 1 will be like. |
Year 1 |
Wow! What a year we have had in 2022. So much learning has happened throughout the year and we have all grown up ready to be in Year 2 next year. We are looking forward to having our swimming carnival on Thursday and Step-Up day next week. It will be lovely to meet our teachers for next year. We hope the children have felt proud of their achievements. The teachers have certainly been proud of them! |
Year 2 |
YAY! Our Year Two’s are almost Year Threes. We are pumped for the swimming carnival Thursday and Step-Up day next week. It has been an amazing year of growth and success. The Year Twos should all be proud of all their hard work and we can’t wait to see them transition into their new classes where they will be able to use all their new skills! |
Year 3 |
What a huge year it has been for everyone in 2022! We have been able to work through so many units of work and produced some astounding results. Well done to everyone. These final two weeks see students busy with investigations, construction challenges and tidying up some small bits and pieces of assessment. We have all been flat out keeping busy. Let’s go Year 3! You can do it! |
Year 4 |
Despite being the end of the year and having finished our assessment tasks, learning is still continuing in Year 4. We have been having fun with escape rooms in OneNote, practising drama presentations, learning to code, conducting science experiments, creating end of year craft, using Excel spreadsheets to record data and display graphs, and much more. We are super excited about our excursion on Friday to the Ngutana-Lui Centre. |
Year 5 |
Year 5 2022 is almost finished! We enjoyed the swimming carnival on Monday and are looking forward to our Bridge Builder Training days with the Preps. The final two weeks of Year 5 will be spent on a variety of fun tasks including technology challenges, visual art, creating our own comic books/stories and making mathematical board games. |
Year 6 |
We are on the home stretch of our primary school journey. In Year 6, we have earned a rest after all the hard work we have done this term. We thoroughly enjoyed Monday’s swimming carnival and are looking forward to the next two weeks of STEM challenges, Visual Arts, Coding, Revision and, of course, our excursion to AussieWorld! |
