Dear Parents/Carers,
50th ANNIVERSARY: SEPTEMBER 10 (12 to 4pm)
We look forward to all joining together with former students and staff to celebrate Craigslea's big birthday which is just two short weeks away! Please click here for the flyer. There will be rides, activities and performances for the children as well as food trucks, music, a bar, reunions and tours for the adults. Historical displays and student work for the time capsule will be on display for young and old. Please find below the warm up and performance times for each year level as well as their dress for the performance. Students wear free dress on the day so they can easily partake in the activities so if their performance costume is comfortable, they can just keep wearing that.
YEAR LEVEL AND BAND PERFORMANCES (PLEASE ARRIVE AT COMPUTER LABS FOR WARM UP TIME. ALL PERFORMANCES WILL BE IN THE HALL)
We do not expect families to go to additional expense. Items located around the home are absolutely fine.

| Year 1 | 12.45 | 1.00 | Brown, black, white, grey or beige (bear colours). The outfits can be shorts, shirts or trackpants (not dresses or skirts) Shoes must be worn (school shoes ideal) No hair accessories that might fall off such as headbands or clips. |
| Year 2 | 1.15 | 1.30 | Wear one colour as they are representing a crayon. Not dresses or skirts and closed in shoes. |
| Year 3 | 1.45 | 2.00 | Giraffe colours: yellow, orange, brown, black, white or grey. This could be shirt, shorts, tracksuit etc. Wear shoes and socks. If possible, wear a tail. This tail can be made by using a safety pin to attach an old sock to the back of outfit with a weight in it so it swings (a couple of stones). |
| Year 4 | 2.15 | 2.30 | Coluured shirt to match colour of student boomwhacker, party hats or other birthday regalia such as badges, leis etc. |
| Year 5 | 2.45 | 3.00 | Green and/or yellow shirt with denim bottoms (jeans, skirt etc) |
| Year 6 | 3.00 | 3.15 | Dance through the eras. Costumes are different for each row. Parents each child has been told what they will need to wear or bring with them. Please check with classroom teacher if unsure. |
There are a number of significant events coming up over the next few weeks before school breaks for the term. Please check "Around the Grounds" and the School Calendar so you can be informed about these.
