Year 5 Planetarium Excursion 

Year 5 enjoyed their visit to the Planetarium and Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens to learn more about their universe.

Year 4 Robots

Year 4 used Sphero robots today to combine their mapping and coding skills.

Senior Sports Days

We have had two great days of Senior Sport one before the holidays and the other on Wednesday this week. Before the holidays, we held the 800 metre and 200 metre races. We also held trials to select district representatives for field events. This week, we had the 100m sprints, ball games and relays. The weather was glorious and the staff and students participated with gusto. Thanks to the parents/carers who attended to cheer on students. 

The Winning House was Webster on 559 points. Hamilton was second on 496 points and Maundrell was a close third on 468 points. 

Ball Games were hard fought with a tie between Webster and Maundrell on 88 points and Hamilton scoring 80 points. 

Our Age Champions were selected from a combination of points from district trials and the two days of events. It has been a mission to get these carnivals organised this year. Reluctantly, we will not award Age Champions for 9 year olds because they participated in a limited number of events in 2023.
