At the end of this term, parents/caregivers will receive a written report via email about their child/ren's academic performance in each curriculum subject that has been taught and assessed over the course of Semester 1.

Teachers make judgements about the quality of student work by analysing assessment tasks.  Student assessment tasks are compared to the Australian Curriculum achievement standards that have been taught and assessed during the reporting period.
A level of achievement is then awarded using a five-point scale (A-E or equivalent depending on the year level). The naming of the five-point scales used to report on achievement in the Australian Curriculum varies across the years of schooling, as shown in the following table:
Prep Years 1 - 2  Years 3 - 6

As well as academic results, reports also convey important information about the child's effort for each subject/learning area, which can be different from their academic mark.  Effort relates to how hard a child tries with their learning, regardless of their achievement.  Behaviour is also assigned an overall grade and comment which aligns with our L.I.F.E expectations.

Academic reports also include information about extra-curricular activities and leadership roles (if applicable) and attendance.

Report Cards will be emailed to parents for their records in Week 10.

Have a fantastic holiday!
