Interschool Sport Trials

On Friday afternoon Years 5 & 6 students met to indicate which interschool sport they would like to trial for term 2 Interschool Winter Sport. These take place over 4 half days during term 2 then again in Term 4. Students have made a selection from Rugby League (tackle), Soccer (boys & girls) , Basketball (boys & girls) and Netball (Year 5 & 6 girls).  Students will train for these teams for the remainder of Term 1 and then into Term 2. Letters will be sent home to parents with further details and costs. These costs will be in the vicinity of $55 and includes the North District Sports Association, ground hire and bus fees. Once these letters have been sent home it will be assumed that the students have committed themselves to the sport and will be invoiced accordingly. If there are too many students trialling for a team, some students will be redirected to another sport or to the intra-school sport program for students who remain at school.
