Bridge Builders
Congratulations to our Bridge Builders who have been continuing their duties in the playground as peer mediators for our younger students.  Please see below for those who have earned badges and/or certificates.

Our first badge recipients!  These peer mediators have completed in excess of 30 duties each.  Sincere thanks to Jayda, Lorelei, Anna, Diya and Holly for their leadership and commitment to the conflict resolution strategy.  Badges will be awarded on our next assembly.

Congratulations on these students for their success in the UNSW international assessment competition.

Prep 2021
We have now met most of our 2021 Prep cohort with a final experience scheduled for next Tuesday. We are currently planning for our Meet the Teacher days in November – when these children will be coming in to meet their teacher for next year, their classmates and see their classroom.  It’s an exciting day.

Our Prep experience days have been a great success from our point of view.  COVID restrictions have made us look at things from a different perspective and there has been some ‘good’ come out of it.  I don’t mean to downplay the seriousness of what families have gone through, however.

Thanks to all our families – current and new – who had their child participate in one of these sessions.

Kubbi
Fortunately, Celia was in Kubbi this week to help me complete a jigsaw I started.  I felt ‘outclassed’ working beside her as she was much better at tessellating the pieces than I was.

I do want to thank the parents who do the pick-up and drop-off at Kittabilla Street each day.  Our staff gratefully receive your cooperation and patience.  Thanks also to Kate, Mikaela and Colleen who are ever reliable in undertaking the duties there.
