Athletics Carnival Week Wrap-Up

What a fantastic week of sport we’ve had! Over three action-packed days, students across the school participated in our annual athletics carnivals—and we were lucky to have the weather on our side.

The week kicked off on Tuesday with the Senior Track Events, where our older students gave it their all in the sprints and the gruelling 800m event. Wednesday saw impressive feats in the Field Events, with students showcasing strength, technique, and determination. Then on Friday, the Junior Carnival wrapped things up with colour, energy, and some brilliant displays of effort from our youngest athletes. The students should be incredibly proud of their efforts, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm across all events.

It was a tight contest between the houses—Maundrell, Hamilton, and Webster—throughout the three days, with one house making a big leap ahead in points by the end of the competition.

A huge thank you goes to all the parents and caregivers who came along to support. Your encouragement and cheers helped lift the atmosphere and made the week extra special. Our wonderful teachers also deserve a round of applause for stepping up to run events so smoothly, many of them learning new roles on the go.

The Overall House Winners and Senior Age Champions will be announced at a special assembly on the Top Oval on Monday 23^rd at 1:45pm. We look forward to celebrating our champions and wrapping up a truly memorable carnival week.
