Are you a parent or retiree with a love of reading and a little time to spare?

Craigslea Primary School is looking for volunteer reading helpers to support our Year 1 and 2 students in developing strong literacy skills and a lifelong love of books.

We are seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to listen to students read for 30-minute sessions, once or more a week. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our school community.

We welcome:

• Parents who would like to be more involved in their child’s school life
• Retirees looking for a rewarding way to give back

Requirements:

• Enjoy working with children
• Able to commit to regular 30-minute sessions (flexible times available)
• Hold a valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
