Learning Spotlight - Alice Cowan-Dillon
Emily has been selected as one of 20 Year 6 students across Queensland to attend the Brisbane Show Camp.
Emily completed a variety of newswriting tasks in her own time and will get to spend a week at the Ekka in August, reporting on and judging an event at the show.
We are so proud of the effort you have put in Emily.
Well done!

What is ICAS?
ICAS is an online academic competition that gives students the opportunity to challenge their higher order thinking and problem-solving skills in English, Mathematics, Science and Digital Technologies.
ICAS results and certificate
Every student who participates is celebrated and recognised with a printed certificate in each subject area, and an online results report to track development each year. Top performers are eligible for one of the highly coveted ICAS medals.
ICAS Student Scholarship Program
Each test costs $20.95.
ICAS has a new initiative that provides students with the financial support to participate in the tests. The ICAS Student Scholarship Program gives 200 students the chance to compete by covering up to $100 AUD/NZD in ICAS entry fees.
