It was wonderful to commemorate ANZAC Day with the Craigslea State School community on Wednesday 23 April. Thank you to those families who were able to attend this ceremony.
Thank you to:
- Sergeant Michael O’Brien for his moving speech,
- Pauline Stockill and the Senior Choir for their beautiful delivery of ‘I am Australian’ and leading the assembly with the singing of the anthems,
- Jen Owens for conducting the Senior Concert Band and playing the Last Post and Reveille,
- And our school captains, Owen and Emily, and our school vice captains, Asher and Zoe, for speaking throughout this ceremony and supporting the wreath laying.
We are proud of our students and grateful to all who contributed to this respectful and memorable occasion.
